Week of March 30-April 1

Language Arts: 

• Learning Targets - Students will watch God Grew Tired of Us and respond to various thematic issues presented in the movie.

Bible: 

Learning Targets:  This week, we will continue our unit on prayer focusing on Jesus teaching us to pray and looking at a simple model for prayer.

Science:

Learning Targets: 

Project Presentations!! After a week of working and collaborating, this week we will present our projects to our class and to other middle schoolers. Monday, we will present in-class to our peers, recieving feedback of what could be improved and clarified. On Tuesday, we will present with our groups in the lobby. Other classes will come visit and vote on which two (out of six) products were their favorites or things they would purchase. We will have a guest speaker on Wednesday to discuss real-life plant breeding!

Social Studies: We will continue to work on our Byzantine Empire debate projects.  On Wednesday, we will continue our personal finance and economics lessons.

Math: In the upcoming week students will continue their unit on Statistics. We will learn how to make estimates on populations and comparing data displays.
