Friendzy: This month in Friendzy, our focus is Uniquely You. In this unit, students will learn and celebrate the truth that God created each of us with purpose and intention. Our goal is for every child to understand that they are God’s masterpiece—wonderfully made and deeply valued.
We’ll explore how true beauty comes from the inside and how our differences are gifts that make our world richer and more vibrant. This unit is grounded in Scripture, with special focus on:
Psalm 139:14 – “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
Assignments: Defend the Faith Project: Tuesday, March 17
Assessments: Church History Test: Thursday, March 19.
This week in math we will continue our unit on Chapter 6, data displays. We will learn about lines of best fit, reviewing point-slope form of an equation as well as the slope formula. Students will find the equation to a line they draw within a scatterplot, attempting to have a high correlation. We will also learn about various data displays and when each display is the best choice to represent data.
