Learning Targets:  We will be discussing how to do double-digit division and also interpreting remainders. 

Homework:   due the next day - NONE this week but can practice IXL codes for double digit division on Google Sheet

• Wed:  What wasn't finished in class today - HW pack pg. 101 #5-8 AND 5.4 pack #10-21 

Learning Targets: This week will continue to learn about the Earth's atmosphere. We will also begin to study how the water cycle fits into our atmosphere.

Learning Targets: This week we will discuss the Revolutionary War. How did the Continental Army win while having so many disadvantages? 

Reading/Writing:  This week, we will continue reading The Watsons Go to Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis, a historical fiction novel that is set in the 1960s. The story is told from the point of view of fourth-grader Kenny Watson. When Kenny and his family visit Birmingham, Alabama, he learns more about racism in the South. In reading this novel, we will analyze characters, character relationships, and character development, among other important aspects of the book.

Band: No power hour this Tuesday; please come to class with no instruments instead. We will have full band on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday! When we come back from mid-winter break, we will start that Tuesday with full band!
