Black Student Union - Black History Month Dinner

The Phoenix Extended School Services (ESS) Program

Every Wednesday, 3:30 p.m-5:30 p.m., In-person at Phoenix

 

The purpose of ESS is to help students improve on assignments and skills by offering extra time and instruction in Math, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. ESS is taught by Phoenix certified teachers -- many of whom are your student’s classroom teachers.

 

ESS is every Wednesday, March 6 to May 8, from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., in-person at Phoenix. Here is the Phoenix ESS Schedule 23-24 which includes grade levels, room locations and teachers.

 

Transportation home is not provided. Students must be picked up from Phoenix at 5:30 p.m.

Prom Party Give-away - Derby City CLUW

Saturday , March 16, 2024 - 9:00 a.m. to 1 :00 p.m. or until the dresses are gone

UAW Local 862 Union Hall, 3000 Fern Valley Road


We are an organization of union women who want to assist graduating seniors who need help in Louisville and the surrounding areas, with their 2024 high school prom. We want to make their night exciting and memorable by collecting dresses for teen ladies, 'after five' shoes, accessories and gift cards for the young men to rent tuxedos.


Drop Off Donation Locations:

February 1st to March 8th

JCPS Exceptional Child Education (ECE) Family Workshop Series

Do you have questions about your student going to college?

Join us to learn about the application process, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), housing, and other resources. This is a repeated series. To get the most from these workshops, participants should come with their Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID verified. Otherwise, the presenters will be able to assist with applying for the FSA ID and explain the FAFSA process, but the application cannot be completed until the FSA is verified. All workshops are held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
