This is my 20th year as a school counselor and my 28th year in JCPS. I live in Frankfort with my wife and son. I am a lifelong musician and play in the "Derby City Brass Band." I am here for all students! I am lucky that I get to see all students about every 3 weeks for "counseling class" in the special area rotation. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email or call me. I look forward to being your partner in your child's education.
I have been a proud member of the Norton family for almost 20 years, wearing many hats and playing different roles within our community. As a School Counselor, I provide support to Norton students in 3rd through 5th grade. I aim to assist students in their personal, academic, and career development by equipping them with the necessary tools to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment where children can flourish and realize their full potential.
I have my bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky and my master's degree in School Counseling from Campbellsville University. Outside of work, I'm happily married and a proud parent of two amazing sons. They keep me busy, but I love spending time crafting, boating, and traveling with them.
My name is Maddie Tooley, and I am the Mental Health Practitioner at Norton Elementary! Before coming to Norton, I taught first grade and behavior intervention. I received my Masters in School Counseling and my Rank 1 in Counseling from Campbellsville University.
I was born and raised in Louisville. I went to the University of Kentucky where I got my undergrad in elementary education. While at UK I met my husband, Trey, and we were married in 2020. We now live in Indiana with our two German Shepherds! I love spending time with my family and friends. I am excited to be at Norton!
