Attendance and Grades are used from the last COMPLETED semester.
Must pass 4 out of 7 classes. (Can't have 4 failed courses)
Must have 8 or fewer unexcused absences.
*Unexcused Tardies and Unexcused Late/Early Dismissals count as "incidents". 7 incidents equal 1 day absence.
If you have 9 or more unexcused absences the previous semester, you must wait until the current semester is complete and meet both requirements above.
Students in need of a chromebook need to fill out the JCPS Device Assistance Program Agreement form.
Saturday School is an opportunity for students who have failed a core credit class to recover that credit towards graduation.
Seniors- You MUST have a Parchment account set up to send your high school transcripts to colleges and universities. Some students might also use Common App. This is a much longer process to setup, but could be helpful if you are applying to mulitple schools.

Former students/graduates needing a transcript will use this link to request records from JCPS.

To view your transcript from the IC app or on your laptop:
Login to your IC account
Click the 3 lines in the top left
Click "Documents"
Click "Portal Transcript"
This will show you your Cumulative GPA (weighted and unweighted), courses completed and grades for each academic year, and total number of credits.
We encourage all of our students to get involved in extracurriculars or athletics. Here is our list of clubs, teams and activites. We also encourage students to find a sponsor for a club or activity not listed that they would like to add to our school culture.
If you plan to play sports in college, you need to be aware of the requirements and process for eligibility in Div I, Div II, Div III, and NAIA.

*Your high school schedule is VERY important to NCAA eligibility. You must have 16 credits that match courses from Fern Creek's NCAA Core Course list. When you are signing up for classes each year, keep this in mind.

Students who need tutoring and homework help can find it through our district-sponsored online tutoring service. JCPS is partnering with Paper to offer assistance to students. Paper offers students personalized, targeted tutoring sessions in all subject areas during the school day and when they need help with homework after school. Parents, you can see what Paper offers your student by following this link.
When students require additional assistance outside of school hours, Paper provides 24/7 homework assistance which is easily accessible on any internet-connected device just by logging in through Clever.
The JCPS Website still list FEV Tutor as an option. The company is no longer servicing JCPS students.

ASSR is an opportunity for students to meet with teachers after school for extra help with assignments. It is offered for limited subjects on specific days of the week. Here is a list of the subjects, teachers, and days of the week. All sessions are from 3:30-4:30. TARC Tickets are available for students needing transportation.
What is an ILP?
Individualized Learning Plan. This is where students make plans for their future by exploring interests and careers, searching for post-secondary education needs, setting goals, tracking extra-curricular activities and creating a resume.
