Percussion Ensembles

Concert and Symphonic Percussion Ensembles

At Eastern High School, we believe in developing well-rounded percussionists. We are proud to offer Concert and Symphonic Percussion Ensembles as a class that meets daily. Percussion class is a group that meets to refine pedagogical techniques as well as rehearse percussion ensemble literature.  We are proud to bring in world class teachers to work with students after school as well.  This class is offered for students who already play percussion, or those who are interested in learning percussion. This class is taken INSTEAD of concert/symphonic band for students.

Winter Percussion

Eastern High School has recently introduced a new after school program/opportunity. The Eastern Winter Percussion performs independently as a part of Tristate Marching Arts Circuit.  In the Winter Percussion Ensemble, you will have the opportunity to compete in competition with groups around Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Being a part of this group is an amazing opportunity to meet and connect with different performers in the same instrumentation as you. This is an after school program, and does not take up time on your class schedule.
