At Eastern High School, the Band Program combines with award-winning programs in art, choir, orchestra, guitar, and theater to form the remarkable Fine Arts Department.
The comprehensive band program at Eastern includes Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Concert Percussion, Symphonic Percussion, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion.
Our students participate in the All County Bands as well as the Kentucky All State Bands each year. The Marching band has received numerous awards as a state participant and regular finalist performances at Mid-States Competitions. The EHS Band Program is proud to serve Middletown in a variety of events from the Family Fun Festival Parade to the Concert in the Park.
Eastern band students come from a variety of great middle school band programs within JCPS. Credit for the strength and success of the Eastern HS Band Program must be shared with the committed middle school band directors.
