Adam Miller, Director

Mr. Miller completed his nineteenth year as a band director this past spring. Mr. Miller’s professional experience includes working with a wide range of band programs. This includes middle and high schools. Most recently, Mr. Miller was the head band director at Jeffersonville High School (IN) where he has been for the last nine years. Experience with ensembles includes concert bands, wind symphony, jazz band, marching band, pep band, and chamber music. In addition to performance excellence, Mr. Miller’s philosophy focuses highly on band as a catalyst for community change and growth. He finds great joy in unlocking the hidden potential that resides in our student musicians. This includes building leadership and life skills with an emphasis on excellence and integrity. Mr. Miller is excited for the opportunity to work with our band students, band families, and grow the legacy of Eastern High School Bands. Mr. Miller currently resides in Jeffersonville with his wife and son along with their Yorkipoo Scout. They enjoy discovering new places in their travels, reading, playing board games, and spending time together as a family.
