Over the past two decades, my professional journey has been shaped by a continuous commitment to leadership, accountability, and growth. From my early beginnings as a Program Director at Herb Johnson’s Karate to my current position as a Field Account Manager with The SYGMA Network, I have consistently applied my core strengths—Responsibility, Discipline, Deliberation, and Achievement—to every role I have held. These strengths have guided my work ethic, influenced my leadership style, and positioned me to help others reach their full potential.
My career began shortly after high school when I took on the role of Program Director at Herb Johnson’s Karate. This early leadership experience taught me the importance of structure, motivation, and teamwork—values that continue to define my management approach. I later transitioned into the restaurant industry, where I served as a Shift Manager at Mozzi’s Pizza and then as a General Manager at CiCi’s Pizza. These roles gave me hands-on experience in operational management, customer relations, and performance coaching. Through consistent application of discipline and responsibility, I was able to lead teams effectively, maintain operational efficiency, and cultivate an environment of accountability.
As I advanced to the position of District Supervisor at Donato's Pizza, my scope of leadership expanded significantly. Overseeing five locations required me to balance P&L management, recruitment, and team development while maintaining brand standards across multiple markets. My deliberative nature helped me assess challenges from multiple perspectives before implementing solutions, ensuring decisions were well-informed and strategically sound. I also relied heavily on my achiever strength to motivate teams to exceed performance goals and deliver exceptional results.
In my current role as a Field Account Manager with The SYGMA Network, I have had the privilege of leveraging my extensive management background in a customer-focused, supply chain environment. SYGMA’s dedication to operational excellence aligns perfectly with my own drive for precision and accountability. I work closely with distribution centers and cross-functional teams to support customers and resolve challenges efficiently. My responsible and disciplined approach ensures that customer commitments are met with consistency and care, while my deliberative thinking allows me to analyze situations carefully before taking action—particularly when balancing customer needs with logistical demands.
Beyond my direct account management responsibilities, one of the most rewarding aspects of my current position has been mentoring and training other Field Account Managers across SYGMA’s network, including those in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and Detroit. Sharing the skills, knowledge, and tools that I have gained over my career has allowed me to foster collaboration and growth among my peers. Whether it is through coaching on customer engagement, troubleshooting operational challenges, or streamlining communication between distribution centers, I take pride in helping others build confidence and competence in their roles. This opportunity to lead through influence and mentorship has deepened my appreciation for the impact that responsible leadership can have on organizational success.
Each stage of my career has reinforced the importance of aligning personal strengths with professional responsibilities. My responsibility ensures I take ownership of outcomes and maintain integrity in all interactions. My discipline provides the structure and consistency necessary for long-term success. My deliberative nature encourages thoughtful decision-making, helping to avoid risk and promote stability. Finally, my achiever strength fuels my drive to meet and exceed goals, pushing both myself and my teams to perform at their best.
Looking ahead, I am eager to continue advancing within SYGMA and the broader supply chain industry. My long-term goal is to take on greater leadership responsibilities where I can further contribute to organizational performance, mentor others, and promote a culture of accountability and excellence. As I reflect on my journey, I am proud of the growth I have achieved and confident that the same strengths that have guided me thus far will continue to propel my success and that of those I have the privilege to lead.
