During my academic journey, I began at Ivy Tech Community College, where my elective courses laid a strong foundation for my future studies. Courses such as COMM-R110 Fundamentals of Speech Communication, BUS-A201 Introduction to Financial Accounting, PHIL-P120 Ethics, and PSY-B110 Introduction to Psychology were instrumental in shaping both my technical skills and my critical thinking abilities. These courses taught me how to communicate effectively, analyze ethical dilemmas, understand financial concepts, and explore human behavior—skills that continue to guide my academic and professional pursuits. My dedication to excellence culminated in graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ivy Tech in May 2023, a reflection of my commitment to high academic standards and consistent achievement across all areas of study.
Building upon that foundation, my studies at Indiana University Columbus have further advanced my career readiness and personal growth. Major courses such as BUS-D301 International Business Environment, BUS-P356 Lean Six Sigma–Supply Chain Management, and BUS-J404 Business Ethics have enhanced key competencies that are vital for success in today’s business world. These courses strengthened my skills in problem-solving, analytical reasoning, process optimization, project management, and cross-functional collaboration—while also deepening my integrity, critical thinking, and sense of responsible leadership. In particular, BUS-D301 expanded my global and intercultural fluency by fostering the ability to adapt communication styles, respect cultural differences, and navigate ethical decision-making in diverse settings. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded and ethically minded professional prepared to thrive in dynamic and culturally diverse business environments.
