For the past three years, I have served as a Field Account Manager with The SYGMA Network, a leading foodservice supply chain partner dedicated to providing efficient and reliable service to restaurant operators nationwide. In this role, I manage key customer accounts, collaborate with distribution centers, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. My responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, resolving logistical challenges, and strengthening long-term client relationships. One of my proudest accomplishments has been training and mentoring other Field Account Managers across several regions—including Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and Detroit—to help them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve greater success within their roles.
This reflection provides an overview of my professional journey, highlighting how over two decades of leadership experience have shaped my approach to management and personal growth. Drawing from my early beginnings in program leadership to my current role as a Field Account Manager with The SYGMA Network, I discuss how my core strengths—Responsibility, Discipline, Deliberation, and Achievement—have influenced my success and leadership style. The reflection also explores my commitment to developing others, including training and mentoring Field Account Managers across multiple regions, and how these experiences have deepened my dedication to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in every stage of my career.
