FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT
Pay for eligible expenses with tax-free funds
Take advantage of a Flexible Spending Account. Funds are withheld from your pay pretax; you can save up to 30% from your tax savings! Use the convenient iSolved Benefit Services Mastercard to pay for eligible medical and dependent care expenses. Employees may enroll at time of hire, during open enrollment, or after a qualifying life event (such as marriage, birth of child, etc.). Confused about which expenses use the HRA and which use an FSA? Visit this page for more information! Do not use your FSA card for any expense you plan to submit to the HRA for reimbursement.
⚠️Considerations Before Enrolling in an FSA
Because FSAs are tax-advantaged benefits, there are some things that may disqualify you from participating or limit your participation:
If your spouse participates in a Health Savings Account (HSA) through their employer, you are disqualified from participating in a Healthcare FSA plan through Insight. You may still participate in a Dependent Care FSA plan.
If your spouse participates in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through their employer, you can still participate in an FSA at Insight, but there are considerations about the maximum, especially for Dependent Care FSAs. See this page for more information.
Insight also has a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) that you are automatically enrolled in if you participate in our health insurance plan. While you can have an HRA and FSA at the same time, you cannot pay for an HRA-reimbursable expense with FSA funds.
