Choose File

Click on choose file and select the file that you want to import. I have found the best format to use is an .STL.

Select Layout

Click layout and it will bring up a screen that you can edit your design.

Layout

Next layout how your design will sit on print bed. You can use the Move, Rotate and Scale buttons to move it around the print bed, rotate it around the x, y or z axis and Scale it to make it bigger or smaller. The most important thing is to make sure it is on the bed. Once you have it where you want it press save and slice.

Adjust

Adjust the three sliders to the appropriate levels. Think about how strong your part needs to, how fast you want it to print and what percent you need it filled. Then click "Slice and toolpath preview". A build preview will pop up. Make sure this shows you your part the way you want it to then close the window.

Once you have closed that window you will need to download the .g3drem file that you have just created. You do this by clicking on the name of your file. This then needs to get transferred to one of the classroom jump drives that are used for the 3D printer.
