Project 1- Create a Wooden Candle Holder

Create a five sided box that has an open top. Each side must have a design or theme that integrates together. This design must be cut all the way through the wood. The sides must be joined on the edges using either a Dado, Finger or Dovetail joint. A standard votive candle must be able to be placed and lit within the holder safely.

Stacked Face or Animal

Create an animal or face like the one above made entirely of slices of cardboard. You can source your own cardboard or we can get it from the cafeteria.

Must have a minimum of 62 slices
be as realistic as possible
Freestanding or have way to hang it
