- Start The Iliad (1-23)- while we go through some slides today, please take notes, either typed or hand-written. At the end of today's class, please either hold up your notes or email me a photo/copy of them. Easy formative points!
- Read and mark Book 1 of The Iliad. (pages 2-6). Read it once just for the story. Then, with your own copy, you'll have editing privileges. Highlight or bold or underline examples of hubris, rage, gods interacting w/ mortals, and arete.
