You can send messages during a meeting to the other video call guests from a computer or mobile device.
Join a meet video call.
Click the Chat with everyone icon.
Click once to put your cursor in the text box at the bottom of the Chat window.
Type your message and click the arrow.
Messages will be displayed and is visible to everyone in the call.
As a host, this feature can be disabled.
You can only see the chat messages exchanged when you are in the meeting. Messages sent before you joined are not displayed, and all messages disappear when you leave the meeting.
At the conclusion of a recorded session, a transcript of the entire session chat is published for the organizer in their Meet Recordings File on their Drive and can be shared by the organizer using either email addresses or a link.
