All students and post-doctoral fellows are invited to attend the social at JohnKing Grill & Bar beginning at 7:30 pm on Monday night!

Meet other graduate students and postdocs attending PRIMO 20 at a laid-back venue with good food and plenty of drinks. We will be gathering upstairs on the second level of JohnKing Grill & Bar where there is live music and games.

The JohnKing Grill & Bar is approximately a 3 minute walk from the Francis Marion hotel.

MONDAY, MAY 20 AND TUESDAY, MAY 21 – SELECT TOPIC DISCUSSIONS

Colonial Ballroom, during lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 pm

Optional, informal topic discussions will be held during lunch, with the chats lead by the Student Ambassadors and centered around selected platform sessions. Signs will be placed on tables to designate the groups. Please join us for some lively discussion about the hot topics of the day.

Discussions on persistent organic pollutants, antibiotics and personal care products, endocrine disruption, and epigenetics/‘omic applications are hosted by student ambassadors Kursten Anderson, Melissa Heintz, Cassie Horton, and Stacey Schkoda.

Tuesday, May 21

Discussions on plastics/microplastics, large scale disasters and oil spills, and immunotoxicology are hosted by student ambassadors Danielle Beers, Sarah Kell, Danielle Mello, and Rafael Trevisan
