The Erasmus+ proprogramme is meant to help us go beyond our borders and discover how people in other countries live and see the world.
In this section, we share a bit more about the schools that have hosted or will host us, giving us a glimpse of their own unique perspectives and practices.
Our preschool teachers, Donatella Costantino and Anna Ghigone, will be hosted by the Estonian school Tallinna Lasteaed Mudila, located in the green heart of the city. This school has been involved in Erasmus+ projects for years, collaborating with institutions in Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, and Romania. Our teachers have been Tallinna Lasteaed Mudila's guests for a job-shadowing experience within a cutting-edge environment, gaining insights into early childhood care and the innovative use of new technologies. Our first Spanish partner school is CEIP Posidonia in Roquetas de Mar, Almería. This accredited school is a long-time enthusiastic Erasmus+ participant, sharing its experiences through a blog and actively engaging its community. We had the opportunity to connect with Raquel Montoro Ovalle, the project coordinator, during our Erasmus Day event, and we look forward to sharing the experiences of our teachers and students who will visit this wonderful school.
In May 2025 we had the wonderful chance to start a new partnership with Escola Domeny, in Girona, Catalonia. The school serves children aged 3 to 12 and is known for its inclusive approach, focus on emotional well-being, and commitment to innovation and sustainability. It actively participates in European projects such as Erasmus+, promoting collaboration and international exchange.
Sjundeå Svenska Skola is a Swedish-speaking primary school located in the heart of Sjundeå, Finland. The school provides high-quality education for its students, fostering a strong sense of community and promoting multilingualism. As part of its commitment to internationalization, the school benefits from the Erasmus+ accreditation awarded to the municipality of Sjundeå in February 2024. This accreditation supports mobility activities for students and staff, enabling participation in collaborative projects with schools across Europe. With a focus on cultural exchange and modern pedagogy, Sjundeå Svenska Skola continues to provide a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Ojanperä School, established in 2018, is a comprehensive school with about 350 students, located in Liminka, Finland, just over a kilometre from the town centre and approximately half an hour from Oulu city centre. Emphasizing bilingual education, Ojanperä School integrates Finnish and English instruction, with two classes currently offering part of their teaching in English. The school actively participates in international projects and collaborates with various partners, fostering a communal and cooperative learning environment.

Located in the lively district of Nilüfer, the Görükle Hazinedaroğlu Özkan İlkokulu School is a modern and dynamic institution where innovation and inclusion go hand in hand.
The school welcomes pupils aged 6 to 10 and focuses on active learning, the responsible use of digital technologies, and the promotion of European citizenship and cooperation.
Through international projects such as Erasmus+, the school encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and an open-minded attitude towards global cultures.
The Cargill İlkokulu in Orhangazi is a forward-thinking and student-centered school committed to innovation and wellbeing.
Its approach is based on collaboration, creativity, and the development of STEM skills, encouraging children to learn by doing, experimenting, and working together.
