One of the core values of the Erasmus+ programme is to engage not only individuals but entire communities.
In this section, we explain how our activities are shared within our school community, from official communications to events with families and students.

Erasmus Days: one year later
On the occasion of Erasmus Days 2025, our school organized a special event to share the experiences lived by teachers and students who took part in Erasmus+ projects throughout the year.
The meeting took place on Thursday, October 16th, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, in the orchestra room of the “Guido Gozzano” secondary school. It was a moment of dialogue open to families, students, and teachers, aimed at presenting the mobility experiences and the future opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.
During the event, teachers and students shared their time abroad - in Spain, Finland, and Ireland - showing how each journey became a meaningful opportunity for linguistic, cultural, and personal growth.
Teachers from Escola Domeny (Girona, Spain), visiting our institute during the same week, also took part, talking about their job-shadowing experience in our schools in Rivarolo, Bosconero, Feletto, and Vesignano.
In the days leading up to the event, on Wednesday and Thursday, our Erasmus+ students visited first-year secondary and fifth-grade primary classes, sharing their stories and reflections with peers, and inspiring them to look at Europe as a space of exchange and discovery.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our first year as an Erasmus+ school and to show, once again, how this experience can, and should, involve our entire community.

¡Bienvenidas!
On Monday, February 17, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the teachers from CEIP Posidonia in Roquetas de Mar, Almería, the first school with which we have established an Erasmus+ partnership.
The meeting took place in the Music Hall of IC Gozzano, in the presence of Principal Natale Checchi, Mayor Martino Zucco, Deputy Mayor Marina Vittone, teachers, and families. The event opened with a musical performance by students from the music section, followed by a speech from Professoressa Marilena Cucco, Erasmus Team Coordinator, who shared the project's journey and objectives with our guests and the school community.
At this link , you can read the article published by Obiettivo News about the event.
The Spanish teachers will be with us throughout the week, taking part in school life at both the Rivarolo and Bosconero campuses, observing lessons, and exchanging ideas with our teachers. This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between our schools and enrich the experience of both students and staff.

First meeting with Spanish students and families
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the secondary school students preparing for their upcoming departure for Spain and their families met their counterparts from Roquetas de Mar.
This meeting was an opportunity for everyone to see each other for the first time, helping our students get ready for their stay with their host families and vice versa. It was also a chance to clarify any doubts about how the exchange will take place and to ask questions about daily routines, school subjects, food, games, and school schedules in the other country.
The video call successfully broke the ice and marked the beginning of our collaboration with our Spanish partner school. Here is the blog post from Posidonia School.
Alongside, some snapshots from the meeting.

ERASMUS DAY at IC Gozzano
On the 18th of October, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., as part of Erasmus Days 2024, we held an event to engage families, students, and teachers, sharing some information about the School Beyond Borders project and how to how to become part of it.
The meeting took place in the school's orchestra room, decorated with projects our students created after learning about Erasmus+ and reflecting on its significance and the opportunities it offers.
Here are some projects by our Bosconero primary and secondary schools decorating the orchestra room for the event.
Mrs. Cucco, supported by contributions from the project team, outlined the main aspects of our Erasmus+ project, focusing on:
objectives,
partner countries,
project and mobility activities,
student and teacher selection criteria,
financial support,
our commitment to community engagement.
To the side you can see some photos from the event.
The moment when our school community truly began to feel part of the broader Erasmus+ community was during the meeting with Raquel Montoro Ovalle, the coordinator from our Spanish partner school, CEIP Posidonia in Roquetas de Mar, Almería. She briefly, but enthusiastically, shared stories of past mobility experiences involving her students and teachers and expressed their eagerness for the upcoming collaboration with our school. You can read her account of the event here, while here you can read a short article by the local paper Obiettivo News.
Our first event ended with our team’s commitment to involve all the members of our community in the Erasmus+ experience beyond the mobilities, making it a true shared experience for all of us.
