School Presentation
The "Don Bosco – Francesco D'Assisi" Comprehensive Institute is located in Torre del Greco, near Naples, Italy, and welcomes students from the age of 3 to 13, from kindergarten to lower secondary school.
Our school is committed to providing an inclusive, high-quality education based on the Italian National Curriculum while promoting innovation, internationalisation, and equal opportunities for all learners. Students can study English alongside a second foreign language (French or Spanish), and language learning is further enhanced through CLIL activities, multilingual projects, Cambridge English preparation courses, and language certification programmes.
To support the diverse needs of our students, we offer inclusive teaching approaches, remedial and enrichment courses, music education, STEM laboratories, digital learning, sports, arts and crafts workshops, and creative activities that foster personal growth, self-confidence, and social inclusion.
Our school serves a socially diverse community, including students facing economic, social, and family challenges. For this reason, creating a welcoming, supportive, and motivating learning environment is at the heart of our educational mission. We believe that every student should feel valued, develop a sense of belonging, and have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Over the past few years, the school has actively participated in Erasmus+ projects, cultural exchanges, and international partnerships. Through job shadowing, training courses, and student mobility, teachers have strengthened their professional competences, introduced innovative teaching methodologies, and shared European best practices within the school community.
Our Erasmus+ Accreditation supports our long-term strategy of modernising teaching and learning, enhancing digital and linguistic competences, promoting inclusive education, and developing active European citizenship through multicultural and international experiences for both students and staff.
