Project Objectives

The project aims to promote environmental sustainability, active citizenship, and educational innovation by combining international cooperation with innovative teaching practices.

The first objective is to raise students' awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development, in line with our School Educational Plan (PTOF). Through collaboration with European partner schools, students will explore topics such as recycling, climate change, deforestation, and water conservation while strengthening their English communication skills. They will also take part in practical activities, including the care of green areas, water conservation projects, beach and seabed clean-up initiatives, and actions to improve the accessibility of the Vesuvius National Park through inclusive solutions such as Braille signage.

The second objective is to enhance teachers' linguistic, digital, and pedagogical competences through international job shadowing experiences. Building on our previous CLIL experience, teachers will observe and exchange good practices with European colleagues, exploring innovative methodologies such as CLIL, Outdoor Learning, and Service Learning. These approaches will enable them to integrate language learning, digital tools, environmental education, and active participation into everyday teaching, creating more engaging, inclusive, and student-centred learning environments. The knowledge gained will be shared within the school community, contributing to the continuous improvement and internationalisation of the school.
