Y Storfa is a repository for documents, training material and information relating to the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 and the Additional Learning Needs Wales Code 2021. They are materials prepared mainly by partners from education and health who work together across the south west and mid Wales region. They are aimed at practitioners with the intention of sharing and expanding knowledge and reducing workload on individuals. It should be noted that they have not been through a formal quality assurance process, however a significant number are derived from work by those leading within their organisations on additional learning needs and promoting inclusion.
To support you with managing this we have prioritised the training we recommend, in the following document. However, schools where teachers have engaged with all of this training will be in the strongest position for ensuring they are inclusively meeting the needs of their ALN learners as the ALN Act intends.
