This term, we have started to read the classic book The Animals of Farthing Wood. It fits well with our inquiry into how living things need to coexist in a delicate balance.
We have been developing our inference skills looking at the body language of the animals and their behaviour in order to analyse their characters.
NC -Pupils can understand what they have read by drawing inferences such as inferring characters' feelings, thoughts and motives from their actions, and justifying inferences with evidence.
