Q. How do I connect my laptop?
A. Download the Windows version of DisplayNote here https://join-montage.displaynote.com/ or in the Software Center on your PC.
On the Newline display click "Screen Share" or Apps (or gadgets) then NewLine Cast, launch the DisplayNote app on your computer and enter the code from the NewLine and you'll be ready to present.
Alternatively you can sign in to the on-board Windows PC, or connect using the connected HDMI cord.
Q. How do I turn up the volume?
A. Some models of the NewLine have the volume buttons hidden on the front under a flap. Also, remember when using the onboard PC there are two places to adjust volume - the actual physical board volume AND the volume controls on the bottom right of the screen when you are signed in to the PC.
Q. How do I turn it off?
A. When you power off it automatically displays a "shut down the built in PC first" message even if the built in PC is already shut down. Also, the second time you push the power button it will safely shut down the PC, so you really don't need to worry about this message.
