Humble ISD Fixes For Common Chromebook Issues
Q. What do I do if my Chromebook is acting strangely?
A. Try rebooting the Chromebook:
Turn the Chromebook off.
Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and media cards.
Disconnect the AC power adapter.
Press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds (7 whole Mississippis or it won't work!)
Reconnect the AC power adapter.
Turn the Chromebook back on.
If that doesn't work, submit a ticket to support@humbleisd.net (include your room number and the asset tag number)
Q. Does my Chromebook need an update?
A. Updates to the Chromebooks are pushed out by the district when they are sure the update will work with our systems. Follow these steps to make sure your Chromebook is as up to date as it can be.
Q. Can I print to Ricoh from a Chromebook?
A. No.
