So what is meant by "Socio-Scientific Issue". An issue is something that people hold different viewpoints = can lead to debate/arguments.
Socio-Scientific means the issue has both biological and social implications. Social = things like economic, ethical, cultural, environmental etc. Biology = the science behind the issue.
You'll need to research the biology behind the issue - the concepts, ideas and processes relating to the issue.
You'll need to look at both sides of the issue - the different opinions and viewpoints of individuals and groups.
Then integrate all of this to develop an informed response = your personal position based on what you now have learned. You are not marked on your position - but on your understanding of the biological and social implications.
Also what actions could you or would you take to back up your position. You'll need to evaluate the effectiveness of these actions.
