There is no requirement on time spent on each CAS experience, other than 1 month minimum for CAS Project. However, students must be engaged in CAS experience/project consistently from Year 1 August to Year 2 February.
Students should consider below to plan your time to make your learning meaningful.
How much time do I need to learn my selected Learning Outcome(s) in an experience?
How much time do I you spend on an experience every week?
How do I know I have learned something?
CAS is HIS graduation requirement. CAS Programme has 7 Learning Outcomes set for students to design their experiences. The time students spend on each Learning Outcomes varies and the success of learning is not measured by numbers of hours. Students must plan their expected time spent on each experience with realistic views in their life-style. Studies show that self-care is an essential part of developing physical and mental health.
Successful CAS students provide a meaningful reflection as an outcome of their an activity, which might be every week or every month depending on how much time they spend on an experience.
