Depression is a mental illness. It is something that you don't want to ignore. Some ways you can tell you have depression are restlessness, Feeling moody or sad, and feeling alone or hopeless.

Symptoms of depression are:

Some causes of depression are not being able to have and go out with others. Another cause of depression is overall sadness. Overall sadness can affect how your life is and how you act while your around others or alone. One last cause of depression is your appetite changes and you could possibly lose weight or gain weight.
If you ever find yourself helpless and can't find yourself you can talk with a trusted adult.
If you feel like you can't trust anyone with your feelings reach out to someone that you feel like you can trust.
if you don't want to talk over phone and you feel like that isn't gonna help you and you'd rather have a face to face conversation then you can go to therapy.
Doing hobbies is also a way to cope with depression, you can fish, bike, draw, play sports, knit, paint, write poems, and more to help you find something that can make you happy or occupied from being depressed.
