Anxiety can feel different for every one but most people who have anxiety feel worried, nervous, nauseated and have a constant uneasy feeling like something is going to happen and over thinking a lot about almost everything.
A quote or personal story to hook our audience:
"Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom” - Koren Kierkegaard
. having a stress response
. physical feelings
. shortness of breath
. aches,pain, physical discomfort.
. feeling butterflies in your stomach.
. may feel your heartbeat beating faster.
. sweaty palms and shaky hands
Getting worried about something.
. Focusing on what a loved one needs.
. An upcoming test.
. Or something in the past that could have went better
They could talk to a teacher or a school counselor.
Go to get therapy
Talk to a family member you really trust.
Or go home and have your friend come over and just have their company
Three pieces of data (statistics / numbers) that support our topic from the Google Form:
16.5% of students in our school struggle with anxiety
32.3% of people have mental health concerns.
31.9% of U.S. adolescents aged 13-18 have had an anxiety disorder
One thing I will do differently is that I should help people who have anxiety by getting them in therapy or having them figure out a way to help like a food that can help calm them or maybe a movie or thing like a blanket or person
