Visiting the 50 States

The Lesson

The purpose of this lesson was to give ESl students the opportunity to practice their speaking skills while researching and learning about our 50 States. Students wrote and practiced a script prior to recording their research.

Technologies used: iPads and Green Screen

The Process

Students researched a state, developed a script that included specific details, and then were recorded using the iPad and the green screen. They then completed the video by adding a background that went with their research. The videos were then uploaded to the websites they have been building in class.
