Cells in 3D

Students often struggle with learning all the different organelle structures of a plant or animal cell. In order to help them better understand these structures, students created a 3D model of a cell and then created a short video explaining their understanding of the structures.

Students created a 3D model of either a plant or animal cell using Tinkercad. They then turned that into a screencast, using Screencastify, to show their understanding of the parts of a cell . The top student projects, selected by teachers and voted on by students, were printed on our 3D printer.
