Claymation is a form of digital art where each character or background is made of a transformable substance. In this lesson, students were to build props and figures in order to tell a story while learning and utilizing the necessary tools for this medium.
Technologies Used: iPad, Stop Motion App.
The Process:
The Process:
Working in teams, students designed a storyboard in order to track and layout their short film. They then delegated roles for building props and figures to layout each stage of the film. Once that was complete, student then utilized the iPads and the Stop Motion app to document each scene as they manipulated their figures. Finally, they combined those images to create their film.
