Wellness Tips for Educators
1) Set Boundaries. It is the healthy and compassionate thing to do for yourself and for others.
2) Welcome & Channel Your Emotions. Every emotion is a gift. For example, anger helps us set and maintain our boundaries. Fear helps us stay safe. Sadness helps us to let go. Whatever you are feeling is okay!
3) Practice Movement & Stillness through exercise and meditation.
4) Eat Healthy Whole Foods & Drink Plenty of Water!
5) Take Consistent Screen Breaks to Give Your Eyes a Rest. (E.g. looking away from your screen for a few minutes at the top of every hour).
6) Be Gentle with Yourself. You deserve all the kindness and compassion in the world.
