Career Technical Education (CTE)

A variety of online CTE courses are offered directly through Horizon’s high school program and students are encouraged to explore various careers.

Students may participate in one or more of Horizon’s 3 Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways and earn a Certificate upon completion of a 4 semester (20 credit) sequence, including a Capstone course with aligned participation activities for each Pathway selected. Vendor facilitated courses in Edgenuity is required.

In addition, community colleges have numerous CTE Programs, which can be taken in high school through Dual Enrollment/Academic Enrichment. The lists below identify all the available Skills Certificates that require no more than 4 college classes. Additional options for Skills Certificates and Associate Degrees are available that require more than 4 classes.
