Assistance obtaining a qualified sign language interpreter at the destination facility or as otherwise needed, and
Written information in other formats (e.g. large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats) when specifically requested.
Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:
Qualified interpreters via phone line, and
Information written in other languages when specifically requested
If you need these services, contact the HCEMS Compliance and Privacy Officer.
Hughes County EMS will provide these services at any meeting of the Hughes County EMS Board of Trustees if given a 72hr notice at the number below.
If you believe that HCEMS has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by law, you can file a grievance with: Compliance and Privacy Officer, 114 N.
