The base of the deck is the most important part of this deck.

📝 Why Did We Choose This?

It is the point where we can construct it. It's like how a chandelier needs a chain. There needs to be a base

to hold up the design.

⚠ What Problems Might Happen?

A weak base

could be vulnerable to harsh weather. Additionally, they could easily crumple under pressure.

✅ How Will We Fix Problems?

We will strengthen our base and supports, creating a unique synergy.

📢 Decision Summary:

The most important part of the deck's design is the main platform because it's the beginning of the design. One problem we may have to face is weathering and decay. However, we plan to build a strong base with an equally strong support. Finally, we will refuse to sacrifice the quality of our base because without a solid foundation, were putting the whole dock at stake.

We decided to build a T shaped dock connected to a seating area with plants, paths, and enclosed in shade.

We came to this decision because it's the most profitable way to save money. Additionally, this layout will be safe for use while maintaining natural space

Our biggest limitation for this project is the constraints

of the budget.

Meeting with the finance department.

This layout optimizes this project because it conserves our budget and the environment. However, we will face a challenge from the constraints of the budget. So to avoid this problem we plan to meet with the finance department, campaign for donations, and avoid hiring professionals when we can do the work ourselves. In total, we believe this is the best way to provide a unique space and observation deck for the students of Loftis Middle School.

We Choose to go with $2,500 for the deck.

Because it gives us a reasonable amount because this is the biggest part of the project and will use the most materials.

We might go over budget because wood is expensive

we can get with marketing and see if we can get some advertisements for some donors.

Our main audience is people around our area that can contribute to our project and help. We are going to make online posts throughout a bunch of app such as Instagram, Tik tok etc... to boost and backup our project. Also to be solutions oriented to any problems.
