What Does Design & Planning Do?

The Design & Planning Department is responsible for creating the overall layout of the marshland pathways, observation areas, and seating spaces. Your goal is to make the space functional, environmentally friendly, and welcoming for visitors.

You will work closely with:
✔ Operations & Finance to ensure materials fit within budget
✔ Marketing & Outreach to align branding with design choices
✔ Project Management to stay on schedule

Roles & Responsibilities

🔹 Creating the Design Vision – Develop sketches and layout plans for pathways, observation areas, and seating spaces.

🔹 Balancing Sustainability & Functionality – Choose eco-friendly materials and ensure the design supports the marshland ecosystem.

🔹 Ensuring Accessibility – Make design choices that allow people of all abilities to enjoy the space.

🔹 Documenting & Refining Ideas – Keep track of design changes, create drafts, and prepare materials for approval.
