STEM Coordinator and Teacher

I have been teaching for 19 years and I have a masters degree in Education with an emphasis in STEM.  Along with my degree I also have certification in technology, STEM, teacher mentoring, and Interior Design.

Getting kids excited about learning is one of my passions, along with gardening and my family.  I love to look for new ways to produce food such as planter gardens, hydroponics, and aquaponics. I have four kids, one grandbaby, a small dog, and an amazing husband; and I dearly love them all.

STEM Coordinator and Teacher

With 14 years of teaching experience, I’m thrilled to step into my new role as STEM Coordinator.

I spent 10 wonderful years as a classroom teacher at Hawthorn, working with second and fourth graders, and I’m excited to use my background in science and technology to inspire hands-on learning and curiosity across the school.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll usually find me outdoors — hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, or off on a new adventure exploring new places.
I’m also a proud mom to three beautiful children and two fun dogs who keep life full of energy and joy!
