SUMMARY
For my capstone project I engineered a song with two of my friends that also rap and make beats. Serafin had a promotion gig for him being an upcoming artist at the Dragon Upstairs with a producer named Obi-wan Jacob’s so i decided that I should come and videotape the song I also engineered. There were also other upcoming artists who were there like rtf and Wadadlion. The audience was mainly friends of us and the other artists that performed but a few people came by from a bar nearby. I used my audio engineering skills I learned in MELE 211, 220, and 222. I used new recording techniques for the recording of Jamaal and Serafin.

RESOURCES & PERSONNEL
Since my collaborators are more comfortable in FL studio, we mixed and EQ'd most of the project there and I then used Pro Tools to finalize the audio recording and EQ'd further to make it even sound better. I used my old Canon camera to film them performing the song and other songs they did live. Studio-wise we recorded at members' apartment and my room. Obiwan was the one who put on the event and also produced songs with them at his studio in the past.
