Noah Chee - "Redemption" Single
SUMMARY
The main focus for this project was to write, record, and release my first attempt at a fully instrumental song that primarily focuses around the ukulele. I started writing the song itself back in January of this year. My process in writing this song involved writing multiple melodies on the ukulele and then combining them together to create one song. I then created/recorded the parts for other instruments in the song including bass, piano, and drums. This song is a very dramatic but upbeat jazz/rock/pop piece that represents the emotion I felt in creating an original after putting myself off as an artist for a while.
Some MELE concepts that I applied in this project was understanding the necessary planning prior to the release date of the song in order for things to go smoothly. This included release dates, promotional items, artist image, copyrights, etc.
