SUMMARY
My capstone project perfectly showcases my growth in the MELE program.  I learned so many skills ranging from operating a DAW to different micing techniques, but what was just as important for me was how my journey in the MELE program forced me to come out of my comfort zone.  The first track in my EP showcases the skills I learned, and the second track showcases my growth that would not have been possible if I hadn't been forced to do something that I wasn't comfortable doing before.  I had trouble collaborating with others because I just preferred to lock down in my home studio and not have to rely on anyone for anything, but because of MELE I learned very quickly how important collaboration is.  So on my second Track 'Alright' I worked remotely with my friend Max.  This is something I would never have done before, and I'm so grateful for the MELE program for this.
