College Calendars
There are several important calendars that you should be aware of:
Academic Calendar - identifies includes registration dates, class start dates, add/drop deadlines, final exam dates and more.
College Hour Schedule - specifies a regular schedule for meetings of divisions and departments, the Academic Senate and College Council, and staff development
College Events Calendar - lists College events (found by clicking on the Event Calendar tab at the top of the Faculty/Staff Resources page).
Professional Development Calendar - lists upcoming events being offered through the Faculty/Staff Development committee.
Commonly Used Acronyms
Like any organization, we have a number of acronyms and terms we use within the college. Download a list of acronyms to help you decipher our "college-speak." This list can also be found in the employee handbook.

The Hawai‘i CC Website is a valuable source of information. Knowing where to find the information you want can be tricky sometimes. Take some time to explore the website.
Quick access links are provided at the very top of the page in the maroon bar. Note that clicking on the link will take you to a new page, while hovering over the links may provide additional options.
Faculty Staff - this quick link will bring you to a page that provides important information specifically for faculty and staff. Note - hovering over the Faculty Staff link will provide you with a direct link to the campus directories.
Search box - In the top right corner of the webpage is the search box, which can help you quickly find information.
Information sections are located below the quick links, to the right of the Hawai‘i CC logo. Content are organized from the student point of view so it may take some time to adjust to this structure. (Tip - you can also use the search box to locate information).

Career Opportunities at the University of Hawaiʻi
Employment opportunities at the University of University of Hawaiʻi are posted at posted online, which is maintained by the UH System Office of Human Resources (OHR). You may search/filter for positions by campus, department, job category and posted date.The website will default to positions appointed by the Board of Regents (faculty, administrative/professional/technical staff, and executive/managerial positions. Civil Service positions can be found by accessing the menu.
