Blog 4: Trip To Kaohsiung

We headed to Taipei Main Station and bought tickets for the High-Speed Rail to travel to the south of Taiwan, to Kaohsiung. Which takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. 

Arrived ealrier than the time for our check in for airbnb so we explored the streets of Kaohsiung.

Alot of beautfil wall art on the way to the airbnb a very vibrant city. 

Ferry was the fastest way to go to the isalnd so we took the ferry which was a 10 minute ride to the isladnl. 

Explored through the market that had food and activities to do.

We headed to the beach park to relax and watch the beautiful sunset.

We took another ferry to an island a bit farther off the coast of Kaohsiung, where we spent the day at a beautiful beach enjoying the sunny weather. Had a great time tho we missed our time slot for snorkeling and could not rebook as they were fully booked. 

Since it’s such a small island, transportation options are limited. Once you get off the ferry, there are several moped rental shops nearby. We rented a few, which turned out to be a great way to get around and explore the island.

We ended the day by heading to a night market. And left Kaohsiung the next morning.
