Mrs Maxine Parson and Mrs Jennifer John (Community Pastoral Officers) are here to support both parents and students, they understands that transitioning from primary to secondary school can be a worrying and challenging time.
They offer support with uniform, school equipment, wellbeing, attendance and any needs or worries that parents or children may have.
They also provides parents help with:
PGL - Pupil Development Grant for children whose families who are on lower incomes and qualify for certain benefits such as Free School Meals and the school uniform grant.
FACE Project - Family and community engagement ensures home and school work together to fully support our students.
RADY - Raising the Attainment of Disadvantaged Youngsters. Working to support disadvantaged children from a wide range of backgrounds.
PATCH - Pembrokeshire Action to Combat Hardship -providing food parcels, clothing and household items to our families in need.
The Hygiene Bank - providing hygiene items such as sanitary or shampoo/shower gel and also household items.

If you want to discuss any pastoral or academic concerns, you can do this by contacting your child's current Year 6 teacher who will pass all relevant information to us to ensure your child has the best possible start at HHVCS.
