Daily Log:

Day 1) We did planning questions we did are 10 good ideas also we started gathering the materials that we would be using.

Day 2)Started to make are crayon. We use tinfoil to make a mold to fill up with the crayon. When plugged in the hot glue gun and put a crayon in it. It took a longer time to melt a crayon in the hot glue gun than a hot glue stick.

Day 3) We just melted the crayon into the mold we made.

Day 4)We finished melting all the crayons and used it on some paper.

Using a hot glue gun and crayons, I created a crayon because I wanted to see if you can melt a crayon in a hot glue gun. During this process, I learned you can put crayons in a hot glue gun. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I decided what I wanted to do and the way I wanted to do it I choose to colors I wanted. A challenge I overcame on this project was the crayon getting stuck .in the hot glue gun I was able to do it by using a popsicle stick. Given a chance to do this again, I would change I would make an art project will the wax. The reason why I would change it is I know that it works now and nothing bad would happen so I would try to challenge myself. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offer Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Social media specialist or manager.
