8P1 - Video Project

Daily Log

Day 1- I made my list of 10 good ideas and planning questions. I also learned about iMovie and figured out what I wanted to make my video project about.

Day 2- I got my pictures for my movie and started adding them to iMovie.

Day 3-I recorded my voice over .

Day 4- I added my video to my website.

• Using iMovie, I created a video about my favorite food because I wanted to explain and talk about my favorite food.

• During this process, I learned iMovie is really easy to use and that microphones really help..

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I recorded a voice over safely and used the technology correct.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding copyright free pictures. I was able to do it by changing the google filter to copyright free.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many pictures I have. I would add more. The reason why I would change it is because It's kind of short and plain.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video editing.
