Today we made a flashlight
Today I made a siren
Today we worked on our reflection
Using Adafruit and a circuit express, I created a siren, a clap light and a flashlight. I made a siren because I always liked police cars. I made a flashlight because I always lose my flashlights..
During this process, I learned how to add music. I also learned how to flash the device. Furthermore I learned how to code animations in the lights.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to My project ties to computational thinker because my code can go one way but not the other. My project also ties to Global Collaborator because I am sharing my experience to the world on my website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to flash the circuit playground. I did not know you had to drag it. I was able to do it by asking a friend.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the loudness of the siren. The reason why I would change it is because it was very quite. I would've liked to here it from across the room.
