Using iMovie and an iPad, I created a movie about different trucks/cars. The reason I made a movie about trucks is because I love trucks/cars especially the old ones. Their really fun (sometimes frustrating) to work on. furthermore they can be very exciting when they start.

During this process, I learned how to add creative commons images. More, I added sound that cant be copywritten. I also learned how to edit images and do a voice overs all in iMovie. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because I learned how to project my thoughts to the world in a unique way. My project also ties to  Digital citizen because I created a movie and put o my website in an appropriate manner.

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding images because there weren't many in creative commons. I was able to overcome my challenge by looking on picsforlearning.com and other sites. Although some of my images were blurry. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the pictures for better quality images. The reason why I would change it is because some of mine are blurry. I believe if I found better images it would make the whole thing just a little better.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in content creating because I learned how to make and edit a short video.
