What materials will you need for your project? Tinkercad, 3d printer

What is your plan to create in this project? a little trinket holder

• Using Tinkercad and a 3d printer, I created anything because I couldn't really figure out what to do and I was running out of time. Technically it could be a little pen/pencil holder or a holder for little knicknacks. My sister said she could use it to put small things and little toys of hers in it, so I gave it to her.

• During this process, I learned how to use a 3d printer, like how to use the buttons and make it work and stuff.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i'm being innovative by creating and designing something?.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use the 3d printer. I was able to do it by asking for help from other people who knew how to use it, and by asking for help from the teacher. They'd tell me how to do it and I would figure it out.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I did. The reason why I would change it is because it could've been way cooler. I could've done something different entirely, or I could've added something a bit more to make my design cooler.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in mechanical engineering, research and development jobs, construction modeling, 3d printing, and more.
